Fair Oaks Elementary

Encouraging a healthy future

At Fair Oaks Elementary, we understand the important role nutrition and physical activity play in the academic success of our students. Scholars participate in Fuel Up to Play 60 programming by leading active recess games, making healthy snacks for taste tests, and more. Our teachers also incorporate fun movement activities during the day to keep learners' brains sharp and their bodies active.

Building a Better Future, Phase II: Community considering school building needs Nov. 7

Community members are being asked to consider addressing school building needs on the Nov. 7, 2023 ballot. Priorities include:

  • Secure learning environments with enhanced safety.
  • Spaces for math, science and career programs, specialized learning services and growing student populations.
  • Access to similar learning experiences at all district schools, including program opportunities, class size levels and the functionality of spaces.

Learn more by attending a Community Informational Meeting on Sept. 19 at  6 p.m. in Park Center's forum room.
